Pre / Drive
The Pre Amp Capture of the original Vintage Sampler is what gives this plugin its authentic sound. We used our Neural Technology NM2 to capture the saturation and sonic signature of the hardware as close as possible.
Distrukt
The Sample Decimator lets the user setup the exact “sample rate” of the audio signal just like the feature available on the original unit. This can help induce wanted aliasing into the audio , a key signature of lo-fi music .
Good / Overload Buttons
You can switch between the Clean and Overload modes. The clean mode is the sound you get when using the preamp of the sampler upto its medium gain , and the overload mode gives you the sound of the overdriven preamp.
Hp / Lp Filters
The Filter Section comprises of a Low Pass and High Pass Filter. One can adjust the cutoff frequencies for these filters to further shape the sound sonically. Go from Dark and Warm to Thin and Bright.
AutoGain
Control the signal Gain compensation with this switch. As you increase the pre-amp value, the AG mode can automatically decrease the output level to match the input level. This is a useful mode and removes the need for the user to constantly adjust the output gain.
I/O + Mix
The I/O trim controls let you further control the gain of the input and output signals. The Mix control allows you to do a dry / wet mix ratio between the dry and the effected signal. This way you can mix in as much of the effect as you desire.
